New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday travelled from
Dhaula Kua to
Dwarka to keep the cornerstone of the
India International Convention and
Expo Center from the
Airport Express Metro. Metro officials said that this trip was completed in 14 minutes. The
India International Convention and
Expo Center will be set up in
sector 25 of Dwarka. A senior official of the
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said,
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi travelled the
Delhi Metro's Airport Express Line. He boarded the Metro at
Dholakuya Metro Station at 3:13 PM and travelled to
Sector 21 Metro station of Dwarka. From there, he landed at 3:27 PM. '

The officer said that in return, the Prime Minister travelled through the metro and he boarded Sector 21 at 4:39 pm and reached Dhaula Kuan station at 4:54 pm. People were surprised by seeing the prime minister on the train and many of them took shelter with them.
In this regard, the
Prime Minister's Office tweeted, "Smile in Delhi Metro After placing the foundation stone of the Convention Center, people talked to him during the visit of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi from
Dwarka. The
Prime Minister's Office shared some pictures in this regard.
Modi has been using frequent metro services to reach out to remote areas to avoid traffic jam due to VVIP traffic.
